IPL 2025: RCB The team defeated the Punjab Kings team by 7 wickets in their house in an important match. The match was played on 20 April at Mullapur Stadium in Mohali. After this defeat, the Punjab team fell victim to trolling on social media, in which captain Shreyas Iyer was specially targeted.
After the match, the trollers not only criticized Shreyas, but also targeted his sister Shresta Iyer, who was present in the field to watch the match. Hurting this, Shresta gave a befitting reply to the trollers on social media. He wrote in his Instagram story:
"It is very disappointing to see that people come down on so lowness that even on support, we blame the family. Whether we are sitting in the stadium or sitting far away, there will be love for our team and always with our team."
Shrestha further wrote on the thinking of the trollers:
"I do not know how many matches have I gone to cheer India and other teams and changed most matches in winning. But when you are just busy trolling, the facts have no importance. This thinking is shameful."
Punjab Kings scored 157 runs in 20 overs while batting first. Captain Iyer proved to be a flop in this match and the entire batting order collapsed. In response, RCB easily achieved the target with a brilliant partnership of Virat Kohli (73 runs, 54 balls) and Devdutt Padikkal (61 runs, 35 balls). There was a 103 -run partnership between the two batsmen.
Now Punjab Kings will play their next match against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens ground in Kolkata. At the same time, Royal Challengers Bangalore will take their next collision from Rajasthan Royals at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
